Bio
Adsullata is a little known Celtic Goddess - some say of spring, others the sun, still others of the river. I think of her as the goddess of new beginnings, a muse. Adsullata is my photoblog, my escape from an otherwise hectic world, and my sacred space. Of course, Adsullata is not my name. I am Deborah Gelaude, and I live in Atlanta, Georgia with my life partner, three children, two cats, and one dog. I am not native to the South, but am gradually relaxing into a way of life that is always summer. I grew up in England, and have lived in Boston and on Cape Cod.
This blog and my flickr photostream are the result of my initial forays into creative expression. I am constantly growing as a photographer, and I hope one day to be good enough to move from blog space to wall space. Thanks to fellow flickrite Catherine Jamieson and her inspirational book. With it, I reinvented my sadly neglected photoblog. If you want to create a photoblog using Movable Type (an often frustrating platform for the novice), this publication cannot be beaten. I finance my passion for photography by working in public health. My other passions in life are my children, my family, my garden, my work.
